Product Description
The Magewell USB Capture HDMI Plus is a single-channel external USB video capture device that connects to a host via USB 3.0. It accepts HDMI 1.4 and DVI-D source input, provides an HDMI loop-through output, and supports up to 4096x2160 30fps 4:4:4 input. The device integrates a 297MHz HDMI receiver with a video processing bandwidth of approximately 160 Mpixels/s, supporting de-interlacing, cropping, scaling, aspect-ratio conversion, color-space conversion and frame-rate conversion. A 3.5mm microphone interface allows mixing in host or microphone audio alongside the HDMI-embedded audio, while a 3.5mm headphone jack provides real-time monitoring output. The bundled USB Capture Utility enables quick configuration of capture parameters and firmware upgrades. Through the MWCapture SDK, the device integrates with Windows DirectShow, Linux V4L2 and macOS AVCaptureSession, and is compatible with Zoom Rooms, OBS Studio, Microsoft Teams and many other applications — making it suitable for live streaming, remote conferencing, lecture recording and broadcast production.
